Notification on Lotus japonicus wild strains
Dear LegumeBase user,The National BioResource Project Office has implemented all possible measures to ensure quality control for resources. Moreover, we selected the core collection of wild strains of L. japonicus by polymorphism analysis using Simple Sequence Repeats (SSR) markers and assessed our resource properties. However, the following strains were found to be very close or the same in genetically. The findings have agreed with the results of SNP-based analysis of another research group.
- MG-2 Taiki, Hokkaido Prefecture, and MG-3 Totsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture
- MG-95 Hokkaido Prefecture and experimental strain Gifu B-129
- MG-51 Hoji, Shimane Prefecture, and MG-56 Nichinan, Miyazaki Prefecture
If you have any question on this matter, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you very much.
